American Idol Final Night

I used to think that I was too cool for American Idol but I got hooked on it this season when my girlfriend forced me to watch it with her during the auditions. It was hilarious, there were times that I feel the producers hired people to audition for the show just get some laughs. The winners have gone a long way since then, I made a few favorites during the eliminations, Chris Daughtry was one, being a fake rock god myself, Elliot Yamin was my favorite underdog. Anyway Taylor Hicks caught my attention during the auditions, at first I thought that he was going to be one of those comic reliefs but when he started to sing there was something about him that I immediately liked, he was an original, a fresh talent, a soul man... Today is the final night and Taylor proved that he could be the next American Idol, this is my first time to stay glued to the show and I really liked the line up of finalists, everyone deserves to be there. It's now down to Katherine Mcphee and Taylor Hicks and Taylor seems to be in the lead, goodluck to both of them, may the best person win. And whatever happens tonight they are all winners already...
